This list isn't about who had the hottest Mixtape in 2011. This is a list of Mixtapes that you can rock to depending on your mood. My family has told me constantly that I am too tough on rating the Mixtapes which is probably true. I have been listening to Hip Hop and Mixtapes for close to twenty years. My level of expectation is higher than the average listener because I know this difference from those who are making the mark and those who are just riding a wave to maintain a buzz.Either way 2011 level reminding us of where we came from and a hope of where we may be going to.
